Soleo Organics-All Natural Sunscreen

Switching My Water Resistant Sunscreen was a choice I wanted to make. I chose Soleo Organics All Natural Sunscreen as it contains No Chemical UV Absorbers, No Titanium Dioxide and No Synthetic Preservatives. Why did I decide to switch it because after viewing National Geographic’s News Report I was astonished how much of an impact sunscreens are making to our Coral Reefs.

Here is what National Geographic stated:
The Sunscreen that you dutifully slather on before a swim on the beach may be protecting your body-but a new study finds that the chemicals are also killing coral reefs worldwide. The researchers estimate that 4,000 to 6,000 metric tons of sunscreen washes off swimmers annually in oceans worldwide, and that up to 10 percent of coral reefs are threatened by sunscreen-induced bleaching.

The study appeared online in the journal Environmental Health Perspectives.

What should you look for to determine if your sunscreen is reef-friendly?
Buy Sunscreens with plant based ingredients, which break down faster than petroleum-based ingredients do after they wash off. Opt for UV Barriers rather than Chemicals. That’s why I have chosen Soleo Organics All Natural Sunscreen because it is safe not only for the reef but also for me and my family. It has only organic and naturally sourced ingredients. Contains 30+SPF, UV-A and UV-B and is very Water Resistant. It’s patented micronized zinc technology that won’t leave your skin white. Soleo Organics All Natural Sunscreen is great for pregnant women and people with chemical sensitivities, common allergies and intolerances. I loved that it still smells like sunscreen as I like the sunscreen smell, very creamy and once applied added a beautiful shine to my skin.

Make a Healthy Choice, Suitable for the entire family-children of all ages and adults.

  1. I'm sorry but our lives are more important that some coral reef in the ocean. Too much radiation causes skin cancer...Sunscreen is important. I've put alot of thought into this comment, I know these natural companies mean well but enough is enough....

  2. That is true that solar radiation is important and does affect our skin which is why I protect it. I also believe it is important to protect the reefs because if there destroyed it will affect us too.
